Celebrate the Yield!
- Vigorous, very high yielding Group 4
- Consistent over contrasting seasons
- Top choice for the East
- Orange Wheat Blossom Midge resistant
KWS Santiago is a consistent, vigorous, feed wheat and an established favourite, particularly in the Eastern Counties.
Despite being a slow developer, its straw characteristics mean it is probably best sown from mid-September onwards.
It has prostrate autumn growth and is slow to get to GS31, but after this it really gets away, producing a large, aggressive canopy that supports long, strong, grain-fill.
Similar in height to JB Diego and Evolution, it needs a robust PGR programme to maintain yields. With medium-ranked disease resistance ratings KWS Santiago will benefit from a full fungicide regime to help it reach full potential.
