KWS UK is part of the KWS Group of Companies. We are one of the leading plant breeding businesses in the UK with a growing portfolio of market leading varieties of Oilseed Rape, Maize, Sugar Beet and Cereals.
With our headquarters in Thriplow near Cambridge and a staff of 50 we are dedicated to providing growers with innovative varieties to meet increasingly demanding end-market needs. Higher yields, superior disease and pest resistance and improved performance in adverse conditions, are all key criteria we seek to establish in our variety introductions.
Due to internal promotion we are currently recruiting for a trials officer:
Candidates should have experience of working in a similar trials or plant breeding role. Working across all of our portfolio but predominantly in wheat, duties will be varied. Experience of Microsoft Excel, data management and statistical analysis is preferred.
The role demands high standards, good organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to manage high workload peaks. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team within a multitasking environment.
