Ultra Early Region
For farmers growing maize in more marginal areas, KWS has extended its range of ultra early and very early hybrids, to include KENTAURUS, KONTENDER and KREEL. All three provide excellent yield performance, combined with reliable maturity giving the option to bring harvest forward or drill later on heavier soils.
For those looking to add further energy to the ration, harvesting for crimped maize or CCM has been very successful using the very early hybrid LAPRIORA, which offers cost savings compared to growing maize under plastic film.
