KWS Curlew (W144) is a new provisional Group 2 hard milling wheat, with good breadmaking quality, HFN, and excellent specific weight. Yielding about 2% above Einstein and Cordiale, it has excellent untreated yields. It has straw height similar to Einstein, but is much stiffer. Good resistance to mildew, eyespot and yellow rust is offset a little by lower scores for brown rust and septoria tritici.
