KWS Feedbeet

Efficient feeding is the key to successful livestock farming

KWS Feedbeet comprise varieties that are bred to meet or even exceed the expectations of beet in the ruminant diet. Compared to current fodder beet varieties KWS Feedbeet offer a substantially higher dry matter (DM) content, and excellent energy yields on a hectare basis.

Thus KWS Feedbeet represent a valuable home-grown alternative to expensive concentrates and are a suitable accompaniment to protein-rich and energy-poor grass-based rations.

From an agronomic point of view KWS Feedbeet varieties come with a proprietary seed treatment called Early Plant Development (EPD). This allows for:

  • Fast germination
  • High speed and†evenness of field emergence
  • Fast canopy closure
  • Excellent yields
